Hi Jel. This comment is actually for your much older post than this most recent one; about the requirements to meet to make sure I get to Singapore. My flight would be next week. it would be my first time going to Singapore. I know I don't need a visa. But is it necessary for me to get a letter of invitation> I'm a doctor. Is it enough to just show my airline ticket and PRC ID? I got a Cebu Pacific budget ticket, paid for by my partner. It was my choice to get that budget ticket as its practical and the departure date is convenient for me. Besides, I've been a Cebu pacific client for a long time. Do you think this would pose a problem? I don't have a hotel accommodation because I'll be going and staying at our yacht (my partner's) which is moored at Raffles Marina in Singapore. And my partner is a British investor in Singapore. Since we will go to Kuala Lumpur on the 1st of November, and will move the yacht to Phuket Thailand after that, so I didn't get a return ticket to the Philippines. What could possibly be the problem I would likely to encounter? I hope you'll find the time to reply to this asap.:-) Thanks!

Well if you've been to Singapore or other countries back in forth i guess it would show in your passport. Then i guess you won't encounter any problems since proven na bumabalik ka naman ng Pinas. If you're a doctor and you have a private practice then you can show a proof of that or proof of residency sa isang hospital just in case.

Better get a legal document to prove the partnership between you and the British Investor also and letter of invitation from him (not authenticated but he can get if he want to).

Hey Jel, Thank you for the very informative blog! I'm planning on going to sg for a job but i do want a job interview here in the phil before i go there, any companies in mind? Thanks!

Your welcome, and by the way , are you trying to test me if i'm a psychic and guess what is your job? Haha. My tip for you is know your industry. Then find out what is the job title for your particular job here in Singapore. Sometimes the title in PH is different in SG. Once you know that search companies within that industry and find out their email addresses. Start emailing them afterwards.

Well if you've got more than 3 years experience then you'll find a job here in no time.

Good Afternoon,
By the way, kasama kong pupunta jan ang sister ko at ang 6 yrs old son nya. Pkisagot naman po ang enquiry ko. Thank you so much and God Bless po.

Yes, there's a very high chance that the Immigration officer will see it.
